Instructions for proper ignition

  1. Launcher preparation: Place a rigid tube (launch tube) or a stable glass bottle upright on a flat surface. Check that there are no obstructions above, such as trees, cables, or roofs.
  2. Rocket launch: Insert the rocket's wooden stick into the tube or bottle. Check that the stick can slide out freely and easily.
  3. Activation
    • Remove the orange protection from the wick (if present).
    • Standing to the side, light the tip of the wick and Get away immediately at a safe distance of at least 8 to 25 metres.
    • Never lean over a rocket during or after ignition.
  4. In case of a blockage: If a rocket fails to ignite and launch, wait at least 15-20 minutes before approaching it. Submerge such a rocket in a container of water.
